Introduction

Welcome to Santa Barbara Courthouse Elopements. By booking a photography package or engaging with our website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. These terms outline the general rules and guidelines for using our services and website. Please note that this information is intended for general guidance and is not legal advice. For full legal protection, we recommend consulting a licensed attorney.

 

Booking and Payment

 

  • To reserve your elopement date, a 33% non-refundable retainer is required at the time of signing the Service Agreement.

  • The remaining 67% balance is billed automatically on the day of your scheduled elopement.

  • Payment methods accepted are those provided at booking (credit/debit card).

  • The retainer secures your date and compensates Santa Barbara Courthouse Elopements for declining other bookings.

 

Cancellation, Rescheduling, and No-Shows

 

  • Cancellation: Payments, including the retainer, are non-refundable.

  • Rescheduling: Subject to availability. If the new date cannot be accommodated, original cancellation terms apply.

  • No-Show: Failure to appear or event cancellation by the client does not relieve payment obligations.

 

If we can rebook your date with another client, we may, at our discretion, waive part or all of the remaining balance.

 

Estimated Delivery of Content

 

  • Galleries and photos from your elopement will be delivered within 3–5 weeks of your event.

 

Travel Policy

 

  • Elopements outside the Santa Barbara area (more than 60 miles from zip code 93001) incur a travel fee of $1.57 per mile per team member.

  • For travel over 150 miles or requiring overnight stays, clients must provide accommodations at $200 per night per team member.

 

Intellectual Property

 

  • All photographs, designs, and content created by Santa Barbara Courthouse Elopements remain our intellectual property. Clients are granted personal, non-commercial use of images.

 

Changes to Services or Terms

 

  • Santa Barbara Courthouse Elopements reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions or services at any time. Significant changes will be communicated to clients prior to bookings.

 

Limitation of Liability

 

  • While we strive to provide excellent service, Santa Barbara Courthouse Elopements is not liable for circumstances outside our control that may impact your event or experience.
